Misty's New Unit!

Misty does Vintage has been in the Nichols Building since last August, but this week we moved into our brand spanking new BIGGER unit!  We were very excited at the prospect of having more space for lots more exciting stock!  So here are a few pictures of our new home, we still have some frou frouing and home comforts to add but its a start:

Looking into the unit

Right side of the unit, gorgeous 60s Glass bowl, on 60s teak tables

Original late 60s G plan Saddle sofa, designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for the British Company when the Danish look was all the range first time round!

A must for every retro household - the atomic magazine rack! plenty to choose from!

Original 1960s G Plan display unit (not for sale sorry!) full of love stock!

Two of my most favourite things - Royal memorabilia (get yours before the rush ready for the Jubilee!) and 1950s super kitsch homewares including the iconic homemaker design cups and saucers, long neck cat vas and swan rose bowl.

Lots and lots and lots of original dressmaking patterns 50s - 80s.  All checked and complete unless otherwise stated

lots and lots of vintage cotton tea towels

Tea sets galore! From the Chintzy to the devinely retro!

Another personal weakness - West German pottery! Actually met a lovely lady who bought one on the day we were moving units

Original 1960s teak side table with mini versions underneath, retro library shelves with glass sliding doors and lots of vintage glassware

Super retro double layer formica surfboard shaped 1960s coffee table

Original 1950s record cabinet

1970s Midwinter dinner service, designed by Jessie Tait, one of the very first Dishwasher safe services!  Records from £1 each and a selection vintage cameras

Another super 70s tea set
